Service and Vision for Edify (SAVE) is a female headed not for profit making, non-partisan and non-governmental development organization established in 1985 to bring about a positive and sustainable transformation in society by addressing various challenges faced by vulnerable communities. It aims to uplift individuals, empower marginalized groups, and promote overall well-being. SAVE is working with the poor, most vulnerable, disadvantaged and bypassed people with special focus on vulnerable women and children in the community. It is registered with the Department of Social Service (DSS) in 1989 and NGO Affairs Bureau in 1995.
The primary objective of SAVE is to bring about a positive and sustainable transformation in society by addressing various challenges faced by communities. Their focus extends to multiple areas, such as education, healthcare, human rights, livelihoods, environmental conservation, and social welfare. By tackling these issues comprehensively, the organization aims to uplift individuals, empower marginalized groups, and promote overall well-being.

SAVE has expanded its activities beyond the mainland to encompass pocket areas of poverty, including hard to reach areas. Currently, the organization operates its development activities throughout the country.
SAVE operates various development programs and projects, benefiting over 10 million beneficiaries across Bangladesh, who receive direct or indirect benefits from the organization’s initiatives.
Service & Vision for Edify (SAVE) is operated as per approved constitution of the organization. It has three types of structure: (a) General Body; (b) Executive Committee; (c) General Administration.
Executive Committee is the sole authority to execute all activities and accountable to general committee. The Executive Director plays the role of Member-Secretary to the Executive Committee as per the constitution. The duration of the Executive Committee is 2 years. The Department of Social Service approves the Executive Committee.
